OFFICIAL LAUNCH FOR BARCODE REPAIR COMPANY SYM-TEL
Clients from across the country attended the official launch day of barcode repair and maintenance company ‘Sym-Tel’ at its Bristol offices on Friday 17th October.
Maurice Goodwin, Sym-Tel’s Operations Manager commented: “Sym-Tel’s repair and maintenance facility enables us to offer customers anything from simple Ad Hoc repairs at pre-agreed prices, to full service and maintenance contracts encompassing our customers’ entire fleet of barcode and radio frequency equipment. This ‘open-day’ is an ideal chance for customers to see for themselves the skill levels of our technicians, and the services we have to offer.”
Sym-Tel’s new offices are based in a renovated church in Bristol. The building was overhauled by local building company Total Property Services (S.W.) Ltd, and provides 9,000 sq ft of workspace, of which 6,000 sq ft is completely static-free.
Sym-Tel was formed by Mark Hamilton-Davies, the Managing Director of OpalTec International Ltd, a Bristol based reseller of barcode and radio frequency hardware. Although Sym-Tel is a separate company, it will benefit from OpalTec’s considerable experience in the barcode industry, which has earned them an international reputation for quality and reliability.
Mr Hamilton Davies commented: “We are already working very closely with a number of major retail and courier companies, as well as working towards providing two of the worlds largest IT solutions providers with complete service and maintenance for all barcode related products.
“We plan to acquire a software house and a mobile IT solutions company within 3 to 5 years, making the Hamilton-Davies Group of companies a complete barcode solutions provider”.
